Graduates
Tory Bishop graduated from Rocky Mountain University recently, receiving a doctoral degree in orthopedics.The daughter of Richard and Ruth Reinsel of Butler, she is a 1978 graduate of Butler High School and a 1982 graduate of St. Louis University, earning a bachelor's degree in physical therapy. She also holds a master's degree in community health professions from Old Dominion University.In 2000, she was among 50 physical therapists chosen to travel to China with the president of the American Physical Therapy Association.Bishop is the president and co-owner of Physical Therapy Works, which has three offices in Virginia. She is also the founder of the Spine Therapy Institute at Physical Therapy Works.She and her husband, Trent Bishop, reside in Suffolk, Va. They have three daughters.———
<B>Courtney Handte</B> graduated from California (Pa.)University recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree in education.While at the university, she was named a Presidential Scholar and was named to the dean's list.The daughter of Mark Rudolph of Butler and Lori Rudolph of Saxonburg, she is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2002 graduate of Butler County Community College, where she received an associate of arts degree in elementary education.Handte has accepted a position as an eighth grade special education teacher for the Colonel Richardson Middle School in Federalsburg, Md.She and her husband, Scott Handte, reside in Easton, Md. They have a son.
