Marian E. Nusser, 84, formerly of Evans City, died Friday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born Sept. 9, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of James and Johanna (Moore) Brickley.

Mrs. Nusser enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by a son, Edward J. Nusser of Evans City; a sister, Helen Leinroth of Bellevue; two grandchildren, James E. (Michele) Nusser Sr. and Karin Sammons; six great grandchildren, Kyrstin, Jimmy, and Alyssa Nusser, and Jerry, Tyler, and Austin Sammons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Nusser, who died Oct. 7, 1991, and several brothers and sisters.
