Erma Greathouse

Erma Greathouse, 96, of Zelienople, died Thursday at Passavant Retirement and Health Center, Zelienople.

Born Dec. 30, 1909, in Pendleton County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Willie A. and Betty (Warner) Mullenax.

Mrs. Greathouse worked as a licensed practical nurse as Jack's Nursing Home and Evergreen Nursing Center. She attended the Zelienople Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Boyer Church of the Brethren in West Virginia.

Mrs. Greathouse enjoyed cooking, knitting, quilting and camping.

She is survived by a son, Lester "Bob" Greathouse of Zelienople; three daughters, Mildred "Millie" Waybright of Zelienople, Virginia Ripley of Slippery Rock and Elaine Cahall of Zelienople; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-randchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester B. Greathouse, who died June 18, 1973, an infant son, four sisters, and three brothers.

<B>GREATHOUSE</B> — Friends of Erma Greathouse, who died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, will be received from 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m.Burial will be Tuesday at the Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale, W. Va.
