Roy H. Fischer, 79, of Cabot died Tuesday at the Concordia Lutheran Home.

Born Aug. 17, 1927, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of George F. and Emma Ventger Fischer.

He was a sergeant, rank E-7, in the Army during World War II. He then was a technology supervisor for A&P Market.

Mr. Fischer was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot.

He enjoyed volunteering at Concordia.

His wife, Priscilla Fischer, died July 27, 2005.

Surviving are a sister, Lousie Spackman of Regent Square in Pittsburgh; two nieces, and a nephew.

<B>FISCHER </B>— Friends of Roy H. Fischer, who died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Luke Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jason Hoerth officiating.
