8:55 p.m. Friday — Michael L. Ehrman of Butler was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public intoxication after allegedly assaulting Janet Mannas, 59, of Renfrew at the Trader Horn store in Penn Township.1 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Jared Sullivan, 22, of Butler struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Susan Rodgers, 39, of Butler on North Main Street Extension in Center Township. No injuries were reported. Occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts.6:11 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jennifer Johnson, 24, of Butler struck the rear of a car driven by Crystal Gillespie, 27, of Butler on Route 68 in Butler Township. The impact sent Gillespie's vehicle into an ambulance driven by Andrew Hamil, 20, of Templeton, Pa. No one was injured.4:20 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Darwin Burtner, 47, of Valencia and a vehicle driven by Debra Tempest, 42, of Zelienople collided on Route 68 in Forward Township. The impact spun Tempest's vehicle into a fence. Flying debris from the collision smashed the windshield of a vehicle driven by Karen Maloney, 45, of Oakdale and struck the front of a car driven by Jennifer Bergbigler, 22, of Butler. Tempest was taken by Harmony EMS to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Burtner received minor injuries. The four drivers were wearing seat belts. Police report the accident was caused when Burtner's eastbound car crossed the centerline and collided with Tempest's westbound vehicle. Bergbigler was behind Burtner while Maloney was behind Tempest. Burtner was cited for not driving on roads laned for traffic. Evans City Volunteer Fire Department and Evans City police assisted at the scene.12:30 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole Roger Schreffler's 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe from the parking lot of Cal's General Store on Perry Highway in Portersville.
3:10 p.m. Oct. 28 — A car driven by Stacey Geyer, 33, of Polk slid off Route 965 in Worth Township, overturning into a ditch. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Police report the road was covered in slush.7:55 a.m. Oct. 28 — A vehicle driven by Jason Neyman, 20, of Punxsutawney slid off Interstate 80 in Pine Township, down an embankment into a creek. Neyman was not wearing a seat belt but was not injured. The vehicle was flooded. Police report speed was a factor in the accident on the wet road. Superior Ambulance assisted state police.
6:30 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Kevin Crawford, 43, of Brackenridge struck the rear of a car driven by Deborah Dickson, 55, of Saxonburg on Route 28 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County. Dickson reported a minor neck injury. Crawford was not injured. The East Deer Volunteer Fire Department assisted state police.
