GRADUATES
Heather Crerar McGuire graduated from Gardner-Webb University recently, earning a master of science degree in nursing. During the graduation ceremony, McGuire was chosen by the university's president to present the invocation.While at the university, she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and was nominated for South Carolina's Nurse of the Year award.The daughter of Robert and Kandace Crerar of Fenelton, she is a 1993 graduate of Butler High School and a 1998 graduate of Edinboro University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing.McGuire is currently employed as an associate professor of nursing at Greenville College in Greenville, S.C.She and her husband, Jason McGuire, reside in Greer, S.C.———
<B>Kara Rutowski</B> graduated with a master's degree in nonprofit management recently from Robert Morris University.She is the the daughter of Michael and Joey Ann Mostowy of Bruin.Rutowski works as the director of development at the Early Learning Institute, which provides intervention services to special needs children.She resides in Upper St. Clair with her husband, Tom, and their son.
