Other stops on the Holiday Tour of Homes include:

• 135 Cedar Ridge Road — The two-story brick home features a dynamic master suite with a dressing room and walk-in closets. The lower level is every child's delight with toys, games and space. The outdoor area features a patio, hot tub and fish pond.

• 119 Glenn Ave. — A Victorian home clad in prom-dress pink makes this house easy to spot. The structure, built in the 1870s, features a large front porch.

Decorative metal ceilings and woodwork throughout give the home a nostalgic flavor. The process to restore and renovate this house continues. It affords beautiful views of Butler.

• 201 Muntz Ave. — Built in 1941 with plans from the 1940 World's Fair, the home features a myriad of closets. The fireplace in the living room was imported from England. It is said to be the first home in Butler with a picture window. The cove ceiling plasterwork is all original and in terrific shape.

• 236 Evergreen Mill Road, Harmony — The 150-year-old white painted brick farmhouse was brought back to life by the Milleas, who are the fifth owners of the home. Four years of demolition and reconstruction have resurrected this historic nugget. A 100-year-old mahogany grand piano is the focal point of the large great room.

• 1201 N. Main St. Ext. — North Main Street Church of God has a long and rich history in Butler dating back to 1907, when services were held in the Stony Run school house on Route 308.

"Living on Purpose" is the theme of the church, which can accommodate 1,000 people on a Sunday morning.

Twenty years ago the church also launched a Christian School, now called Penn Christian Academy, which hosts 220 students at its campus in Penn Township.
