Louis A. Nanni

Louis A. Nanni, 92, of Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, died Saturday morning at his home.

Born Sept. 15, 1914, in Butler, he was the son of George and Josephine DeSantis Nanni.

He retired as an inspector for the United Engineering Corp. and also the Mesta Machine Co. of New Castle. He was president to his local union for more than 20 years. He also was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Mr. Nanny enjoyed all sports and had played in softball and bowling leagues in his younger years.

He had a deep love for his family.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Klaber and Carole DelPrincipe, both of Pulaski Township; five grandchildren, David Klaber, Cynthia Dumas, Joseph and Gregg DelPrincipe and Karol Hale; and six great-grandchildren.

His wife, Mabel P. Crouch Nanni, died Oct. 10, 2003. A sister, Antonio DeMatteis, and six brothers, Guy, Leo "Skeets," Bernard, Carl, Peter and Victor Nanni also preceded him in death.

<B>NANNI </B>— There will be no visitation. Services for Louis A. Nanni, who died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, will be private.
