1:15 a.m. Saturday — Diane Christie, 22, of Presto, Pa., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.6:48 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Kirk Duve, 50, of Sarver struck an embankment off Sarver Road in Clinton Township and rolled onto its side. Duve was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and EMS assisted state police.9:18 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Richard Grossman of Slippery Rock and a vehicle driven by Garrett Hawk of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Benbrook Road in Center Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.6:25 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Nancy Williamson, 30, of Kittanning struck a deer on Route 38 in Center Township. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.7:45 a.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Jacqueline Pflueger, 43, of Butler and a truck driven by William Orth, 64, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 8 and Airport Road. Pflueger was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. Pflueger was cited for not stopping at a red light.9 p.m. Monday — Two men stole the license plate from Kim Osborne's vehicle while it was parked on North Franklin Street in Prospect before they left walking north up Route 528. Osborne described the men as being a white male in his 20s and 5 feet, 10 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap and jeans and a Hispanic man in his 20s and 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, with dark hair, wearing baggy jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information about the suspects should call state police at 724-284-8100.Oct. 15 — Someone entered Carl Binder's workshop at his Brady Township residence at 750 Muddy Creek Drive and stole tools sometime before Oct. 15.
Wednesday — A car driven by a juvenile female struck the rear of a horse-drawn buggy driven by Sam Mast, 42, of New Wilmington on Route 19 in Springfield Township. Mast complained about having back pain. No other injuries were reported. The juvenile was cited for a traffic violation.
4:45 p.m. Thursday — Two illegal immigrants were caught during a traffic stop on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Enrique Aguijosa-Bravo, 53, and Oscar Garcia-Aguirre, 28, both of Mexico, were jailed in Allegheny County Prison awaiting pickup by federal authorities.
6:30 a.m. Friday — A tractor-trailer driven by Charles Snoddy, 54, of Wooster, Ohio, struck a guardrail on Interstate 80 in Allegheny Township before going down an embankment and hitting several trees. Snoddy was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.
1:41 a.m. Friday — Dante Spino, 23, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 108 in Hickory Township.Friday — Someone cut a screen to break into Kenneth Mucker's residence at 140 Rose Point-Harlensburg Road in Slippery Rock Township and stole numerous items between 6 p.m. Oct. 1 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Mucker lives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
