SPOOKY SOUP

The Shuler family of 116 Linden Ave., are dressed as cans of Campbell's Soup for the Oct. 30, 1968, city of Butler Halloween Parade. The Shulers won the best group award for their costumes, while Jackie Klingensmith of 214 W. Penn St., and Keith Johnson of 122 W. Pearl St., also won a group award for their monster costumes. The city no longer has an annual Halloween parade, but this year the Butler Downtown Association is hosting trick-or-treating at Main Street stores from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The city's regular trick or treat will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
