4:20 p.m. Wednesday — A Canadian trucker was injured when his rig hauling timber crashed into a guardrail, traveled over a hill and struck several trees. Wayne Stanell, 50, of Ontario was taken with moderate injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh; his condition was not known this morning.6:35 a.m. Oct. 9 — An unidentified Mazda pickup truck backed into a car at the Sheetz parking lot in Slippery Rock, and did not stop following the crash. Lisa Foust, 35, of Grove City was driving the car.Police ask anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.
