10:18 p.m. Oct. 6 — Melissa Leviere, 30, of Middlesex Township was arrested for driving under the influence after her car struck two parked vehicles on Pillow Street. She was also cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, reckless driving and careless driving.Amee Passauer and Alexander Smith, both of Butler, own the vehicles hit in the crash.

Friday — An unknown thief between 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday stole a book bag from an unlocked car at the Oberlin Drive home of Jodi Hobaugh. The contents of the bag are estimated at $550.Oct. 1 — Someone broke into the Route 173 home of Elizabeth Stoughton in Slippery Rock Township and stole an undisclosed amount of candy. The burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Sept. 30 and 1 p.m. Oct. 1.
