Albert W. Elliott
Albert W. Elliott, 86, of North Main Street Extension, formerly of Central Drive, died at 7:10 p.m. Monday in the Sunnyview Home.
Born Dec. 8, 1919, in Butler, he was the son of Harvey O. Elliott and Emma L. Garing.
Mr. Elliott was a retired farmer and had worked at Moraine State Park.
He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a 50-year member of the Unionville Grange. He also enjoyed traveling and model trains.
He is survived by his second wife, Mary Anna Bell Elliott, whom he married on Feb. 15, 1986; a son, William H. Elliott of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Karen) Cockroft of Butler; three step-daughters, Margaret Leitz of Placerville, Calif., Bonnie Fiel of Butler, and Joyce Moorhead of Champagne, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Allene Adkins and Lois Cochran, both of Butler; three nieces, and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leone Elliott, and by two sisters.
<B>ELLIOTT</B> — Friends of Albert W. Elliott, who died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert W. Strobel of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
