Idella Lee Gary

Idella Lee Andrews Gary, 92, of 1136 Johnson St., Vandergrift, died Saturday at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born March 1, 1914, in Elkton, Ky., she was the daughter of Wiley and Carrie Lee Cross Andrews.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Ford City.

Mrs. Gary had been a housekeeper for the Wise family in Butler.

She enjoyed visiting the sick and loved going to church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gary.

Surviving are a daughter, Josephine and her husband, Marvin Russell, of Ford City; three sisters, Alice Ware and Johnnie Brundidge, both of Ford City, and Eliza Johnson of Vandergrift; a grandchild, Timothy L. Russell of Memphis, Tenn., and nieces and nephews.

<B>GARY </B>— Friends of Idella Lee Andrews Gary, who died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Welch Funeral Home</B>, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Hubert Hutcherson, pastor of the Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, officiating. Burial will follow at the Ford City Cemetery, Manor Township, Armstrong County.Information also is available at www.welchfh.com.
