Dick Musko of the
Butler AMRotary Club received Rotary International's Public Image Achievement Award at the Butler AMRotary Club's meeting Tuesday.The award was presented by District Governor Henry Anna of Grove City.Musko was chosen as one of 181 recipients of the award worldwide for leading fundraising and installation efforts for the Special Kids Zone playground at Alameda Park.The Butler AMRotary Club meets at 7 a.m. Tuesdays at the Butler YWCA.———

Butler Rotary Club participated in The Dictionary Project, donating 1,000 dictionaries to third grade students in area schools.Rotary members present dictionaries to each student individually in the Butler, Moniteau and South Butler school districts, Butler Catholic School, St. Wendelin School and Penn Christian Academy.———During the recent Penn's Colony Festival, representatives from
St. Luke Lutheran Church and School held a face-painting and pumpkin patch booth.Volunteers raised $1,566 for Habitat for Humanity at the two-week event.———
