6:08 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Shannon Ambrose, 20, of Parker and Deborah Simmons, 37, of Portersville collided at North Main and West Penn streets.
12:49 a.m. Sunday — Raymond Covelli, 23, of Harmony was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle nearly struck head-on a township police cruiser at the crest of Fisher Hill on Whitestown Road. In addition to DUI, Covelli is charged with reckless endangerment and other traffic offenses.4:28 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Susan O'Shea, 55, of Butler struck an embankment and overturned on Litman Road. O'Shea was treated for unknown injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.
4:12 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Melissa Elk, 45, of Parker and Sara Laverick, 24, of North East, Erie County, collided on Route 268 in Petrolia.3:26 p.m. Monday — Apickup truck driven by Arthur Ditty, no age given, of Parker struck a speed limit sign and tree along Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township.6 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Catherine Lambert, 33, of Burnsville, Miss., struck a fence post and tree along Branchton Road in Washington Township. Police said Lambert drove off after the crash.She was cited for accidents involving damaged to unattended property, driving without a license, driving too fast for conditions and lane violation.4:10 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by David Scott Jr., 24, of Butler crashed off Henricks Road near Glenwood Way in Center Township, and traveled down a steep ravine. Scott, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.3:05 a.m. Saturday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Dean Whitmer, 31, of Emlenton struck a guardrail and steel post, and overturned, throwing him out of the vehicle. Whitmer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Clarion Hospital with unknown injuries.Sept. 26 — An unknown thief overnight stole a 6-foot inflatable Halloween yard decoration from the RJ Jones Inc. landscaping business on Centerville Pike in Slippery Rock Township.11:37 p.m. Sept. 23 — Barbara Blatt, 52, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence on Route 8 in Center Township.
