12:25 Sunday — John Javor, 32, of Summit Township was arrested for driving under the influence on Center Avenue. He was also cited for not obeying traffic control devices.Sunday — Peter Albaugh, 27, of Butler was charged with theft for allegedly taking a $10 roll of quarters from Serventi's Restaurant on South Chestnut Street, where he works.1:26 a.m. Saturday — Philip Scalzi, 34, of Center Township was arrested for DUI at Main and Jefferson streets. He was also cited for not using his vehicle's turn signals.12:33 a.m. Saturday — James McPaul, 42, of Butler was arrested for DUI on West Jefferson Street. He was also for driving a vehicle with expired registration and inspection.

Sunday — Someone between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday damaged two beacon lenses at the Butler County Farm Show airport on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.4:05 p.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Jennifer Bulkley, 23, of Pleasantville, Venango County, and Andrew Bavas, 24, of Hydetown, Crawford County, collided on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Both cars crashed into a guardrail and rolled over several times.Bulkley, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered back and neck injuries; Bavas, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor head injuries. Bulkley was cited for careless driving.2 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Michelle Beatty, 21, of Seven Fields crashed into a ditch on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Beatty, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.10 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Joshua Shay, no age given, of Clarion crashed at Leonard and Branchton roads in Washington Township. Police said Shay fled the scene after the crash.2:49 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Dennis Armstrong, 26, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, crashed into an embankment on Route 8 near Route 58 in Harrisville.

Friday — Police are investigating a series of thefts from vehicles in and around Glennbrook Drive in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police said wallets and purses were taken from the unlocked vehicles.Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.
