St. John U.C.C.World Communion Sunday will be celebrated with Holy Communion consisting of various ethnic breads at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City.The installation of St. John's new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Verna Call, is set for 3 p.m. Oct. 15.

St. Mary R.C.St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, will observe its yearly devotions in honor of St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower of Jesus, with a Mass at 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by benediction, blessing of roses and special prayers.

Trinity LutheranThe celebration of the Lord's Supper will be observed at the 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township.Trinity Youth will take part in the Youth Adopt-A-Highway service project on Saturday. West Sunbury U.P.In observance of World Communion Sunday, the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, 215 East Church St., West Sunbury, will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Elders will offer anointing during the service.The Mission and Stewardship Committee will distribute offering materials before and after the Sunday service in the vestibule. Those unable to pick them up will have them mailed to their homes.

White Oak Springs PresbyWorld Communion Sunday will be observed during the 9:45 a.m. Sunday service at White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew. The Peacemaking Offering will be received during the service.

Zelienople Church of ChristMembers of the Zelienople Church of Christ will participate in the annual Life Chain observance from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Grandview Avenue and Main Street in Zelienople.
