Werner, Stough

Jim and Allyson Stough

Allyson Werner and Jim Stough, both of Annapolis, Md., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 15 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium in Prospect.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Janet Werner of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dwight and Donna Lakner of Riva, Md., and the late Jim Stough Sr.

The maids of honor were Kay Lavorini of Washington, D.C., and Carrie Macharola of Glen Burnie, Md. Bridesmaids included Emily Lakner of State College; Jennifer Werner and Lindsay Schnur, both of Butler; and Ashlee Stefanik of New York City.

Serving the bridegroom as best men were Luke Stough of Annapolis and Matt Ozio of Hollidaysburg. Ushers included Erik Werner of Butler; Mark Koenig of Glen Burnie; Jeff Pfeiffenberger of Arlington, Va.; and Carlin Brickner of Queens, N.Y.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University. She is currently completing her master's degree at Johns Hopkins University and is employed by Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Annapolis.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Hollidaysburg High School and in 2004 from Penn State University. He is also pursuing a master's degree at Johns Hopkins University. He works for the federal government in Washington, D.C.

Following a honeymoon trip to Anguilla in the British West Indies, the couple is making their home in Annapolis.
