All drugs are ADDICTIVE

All drugs can become addictive as continued use can result in greater tolerance for the drug and lead to addiction.

Illegal drugs are very assessible in Butler County, and young people and parents must guard against them at all times.

Even using a perscription drug over the approved amount is the same thing as driving under the influence and is subject to fines and penalties.

Marijuana can be smoked, eaten or brewed as a tea. It is usually stored in plastic sandwich baggies.

In Pennsylvania, possession of 30 grans of marjiuana or 8 grans of hashish carries a $500 fine and up to 30 days in jail. Have an ounce or more and you could find yourself in jail for up to a year and a $5,000 fine. People selling marijuana can get anywhere from five to 10 years in jail and from $15,000 to $100,000 fine.

People who grow and cultivatge 10 plants receive a mandatory minimum sentence of one year in jail.

ECSTACY, methylenedioxymethamphetamine, also known as MDMA, mixes the hallucinogenic effects of LSD with the stimulant effects of methamphetamine.

DATE RAPE DRUGS like GHB and Rohypnol are colorless, odorless and tasteless and are often slipped into a victim’s drink without their knowledge.
