Army Capt.

Dr. Bonny Grigor

Hernandez, daughter of Robert and Linda Grigor of Butler, is currently serving a four-year term as a dentist at Fort Knox, Ky. Hernandez, who went through school on an Army scholarship, graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2004 and completed the officer leadership basic course at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in March 2006 as part of the Army Division.She and her husband, Alex Hernandez, make their home in Louisville, Ky.———Air Force Airman

Christopher Verzella has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.He is the son of Gerald and Nancy Verzella of Portersville.Verzella is a 2005 graduate of Portersville Christian School.———Air Force Airman

Sara Pelusi has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.The 2004 alumna of Butler High School is the daughter of Steve and Diane Pelusi of Butler.———Air Force Airman

Joshua Robison has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.He is the son of John and Robin Robison of Lyndora.Robison is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.———

Todd Fowler, a 1991 alumnus of Butler High School, recently was promoted to the rank of major in the Army. Fowler served one year in Iraq as a flight surgeon in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III, and currently is an emergency physician at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, N.C.———Army Pvt.

Nathan Schwartz has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.He is the son of Paul Schwartz of Evans City and Debbie Moss of Virginia Beach, Va.Schwartz is a 2004 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.———Air Force Airman

Stephen Best has arrived for duty at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina.Best, a fuels journeyman, is assigned to the 437th Logistics Readiness Squadron. He has less than one year of military service.He is the son of Walter and Diana Best of Butler.The airman is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School.Veterans' notesOn Oct. 7, the Tin Can Sailors, the National Organization of Destroyer Veterans, will hold a tri-state bull session at the Greentree Holiday Inn.
