Unbeaten Planets drop Hampton, 2-0
In a battle of undefeated section foes, the Mars boys soccer team got two second-half goals from Bob McKinney and Derek Workman to edge Hampton 2-0 Thursday night.
After getting the lead, the Planets defense, which hasn't surrendered a goal since Sept. 7 and only five goals all season, took over for Mars (9-0, 6-0).
Hampton is now 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the section.
Knoch 3, Neshannock 0 —Adam Sharbaugh scored two goals and Mike Morehouse added another for Knoch.Steven Frey and Nathan Geibel combined for the shutout in goal for the Knights (5-3, 4-2).
