Hay, Machak
Ashleigh Hay of Butler and Darren Machak of Renfrew were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at Harbison Chapel on the campus of Grove City College. The Rev. Robert Calhoon officiated. A reception followed at Highfield Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Mary Ann Hay of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Ardie Machak of Renfrew.
The maid of honor was Sydney Meals of Butler. Bridesmaids included Rebecca Pavkovich, Erin Say and Erin Hay, all of Butler, and Melissa Naper of Gibsonia. Caitlyn Martin of Butler was the flower girl.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Doug Machak of Butler. Ushers included Ryan Stewart of Pittsburgh; Keegan Baldauf of Ashland, Ohio; and Ron Ernst and Eddie Hay, both of Butler. The ring bearer was Clay Williams of Grove City.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of Grove City College. She is currently a student in the paralegal program at Villanova University.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2005 from Washington and Jefferson College. He is currently attending the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Philadelphia.
