Thomas D. Tindall, 76, of Mars died Monday afternoon at his home.

Born in Wilkinsburg, March 30, 1930, he was the son of Thomas E. and Ethel D. Doran Tindall.

He retired as a principal from the Mars Middle School. After retirement, he worked for Quality Gardens. He was an avid gardener and belonged to various garden clubs.

Mr. Tindall was a member of the Christian Science Church of Pine Township.

He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Joan) Bayne of Mars; a brother, Robert Tindall of Lincoln, Neb., and a number of nieces and nephews.
