'Rainbow' has helped 150
Rainbow Animal Refuge, Inc., is a 501 C (3) organization established in 1996 by volunteers who have a great love for animals.
We are dedicated to the caring for — and permanent placement of — abandoned animals of Butler County. We believe strongly in the spaying and neutering of all animals and educating the public regarding animal care and compassion.
We generate revenues by means of fundraisers; general contributions; private, public and corporate sector grants; endowments; memorials; bequests; and adoption donations.
To date this year, we have adopted more than 150 animals.
All animals in foster care receive veterinary care, have necessary inoculations and are spayed or neutered when age appropriate.
Cats in our care are all leukemia- and HIV-screened.
Every effort is made to ensure that any animal adopted from Rainbow Animal Refuge is healthy.
