Someone's Caring Parent Grief Support Group of Thompson-Miller Funeral Home held a Footprints in the Heart Community Remembrance Walk recently, raising more than $13,200, which was donated to the Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center. The inaugural event was attended by 230 participants. In front is O'Shea, a grief counseling dog from the funeral home. The support group, which began in 1995, consists of parents who have experienced the death of their children.
