Tuesday — Michael Kay of Butler reported someone overnight broke into his car parked at the Farmer's Market and stole 10 compact discs, a book of checks and a gym bag filed with clothing and other items.
Tuesday — Prescription painkillers and a pack of cigarettes were taken in a burglary between 8:30 and 9 p.m. at the Eastwood Village Inn in Summit Township. Clayton Kerrigan of Butler owns the property, valued at $253.Tuesday — A red and black, 1999 Honda TRX300 EXdirt bike was taken between 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday from a garage-type structure at the Gameland Road home of Richard Slater in Donegal Township. The vehicle is valued at $2,500.Tuesday — A white steel mailbox with the number 103 on it was found on Queenstown Road in Parker Township. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.10:20 p.m. Monday — Christine McGregor, 23, of Petrolia is accused of giving a false name and date of birth to police following a traffic stop on Route 38 in Center Township. She is charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities.Monday — Someone between Saturday and Monday stole several containers of prescription medication from the mailbox of a Pine Tract Road home in Center Township.Aug. 30 — A truck driven by John Stoughton, 21, of Portersville and a car driven by Pamela Martin, 67, of Pittsburgh collided at Route 108 and Interstate 29 in Worth Township. Martin, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries. Stoughton was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
5:30 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Brian Forrester, no age given, of Jackson Center crashed on Irishtown Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Forrester, who was not wearing a seat belt, was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
