Lahti, Zupancic

Joseph Jr. and Cara Zupancic

Cara Lahti and Joseph Zupancic Jr., both of Charlotte, N.C., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 22 at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte. The Rev. Rebecca Nagy officiated. A reception followed at the museum.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Cynthia Mulder of Ahoskie, N.C. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Patricia Zupancic of Butler.

The maid of honor was Deanna Zupancic of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Jennifer Davenport of Charlotte and Katharine Hamilton of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Joseph Sobieralski of Centreville, Va. Ushers included Daniel Kiral of Hagerstown, Md., and Adam Decker of Centreville.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Hertford County High School, a 2001 graduate of East Carolina University and a 2005 graduate of the Art Institute of Charlotte. She works for SJA Designs in Charlotte.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 1997 and from Shippensburg University in 2001. He works for Ceridian in Charlotte.

Following a honeymoon trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple is making their home in Charlotte.
