Laura Jean Andrusis
Laura Jean Andrusis, 51, of 154 Wick Road, Slippery Rock, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a short illness.
Born in Kane, McKean County, Oct. 16, 1954, she was the daughter of John F. Bish and the late Leona Jean Williams Bish.
She had been a business manager for Slippery Rock Municipal Authority.
Mrs. Andrusis was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock. She also belonged to the Slippery Rock Woman's Club and was active with Slippery Rock Emergency Management, the Slippery Rock Zoning Board and the Slippery Rock Township Zoning Board.
Surviving are her father and his wife, Irene, of Mount Jewett, McKean County; a son, Christian Andrusis and his wife, Elizabeth, of Grove City; a daughter, Theresa Macurak and her husband, David, of Chicora; two sisters, Kathy Haggard of Butler and Jackie Cooney and her husband, Bob, of Smethport, McKean County; a brother, Rick Bish and his wife, Deb, of Hazel Hurst, McKean County, and a grandchild, Jordan Macurak.
<B>ANDRUSIS</B> — Friends of Laura Jean Andrusis, who died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>; 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bethel Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Mark Frailey officiating.
