Viola Marie Klann

Viola Marie Klann, 72, of Butler died Monday at her home.

Born May 7, 1934, in Butler, she was the daughter of Bennie Rutkoski of Sheffield and the late Mary Hattz Rutkoski.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Klann was involved with and held offices in the Women of the Moose. She was a corps adviser of the Catholic Daughters of the America Drum and Bugle Corps. She also was state chairman of the Jr. C.D. of A. and held various offices in Senior C.D. of A.

Her husband, Walter Klann, died Jan. 10, 1969.

In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Combs of Butler, and two grandchildren, Heather Marie and Jeremy Combs, both of Pittsburgh.

<B>KLANN</B> — A memorial Mass for Viola Marie Klann, who died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by the Young Funeral Home, and information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
