Mars edges Knoch to stay unbeaten
Derek Workman scored the lone goal of the game eight minutes into the contest as the Mars boys soccer team defeated Knoch, 1-0, Saturday.
The win keeps the Planets unbeaten through four games. Knoch (2-1) hosts Hampton Tuesday.
Slippery Rock 6, Sharon 0 — Mike Ramirez scored three goals for the Rockets (3-0), who host Sharpsville today. Ryan Gercken added a pair of goals and Ryan Hiatt scored one.
Butler 4, Montour 2 — The Golden Tornado scored four 18Z\x minutes of play to erase a 2-0 deficit.Doug Moran tallied two scores while Taylor Blose and Ben Horner each scored once.Jack Peluso-Hoffman and Wade Grubbs had assists in the win.
