3:07 a.m. today — Danielle Tiani, 19, of Butler Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on West Birch Street. She was also cited for going the wrong way on a one-way street.8:12 a.m. Sunday — Sharon Gonzales reported that a trampoline was taken from the yard outside her West New Castle Street home. Aneighbor told Gonzales that she had seen two boys running away with the property valued at $100.8:46 a.m. Sunday — Patrick Williams, 41, of Butler was arrested following a disturbance at Anderson's Restaurant on South Main Street.Police said Williams was intoxicated and became belligerent with officers called to the restaurant. While being placed into the cruiser he allegedly "rammed his body"into patrolman Kevin Goss, shoving the officer into the passenger side of the car.At the station and while being taken from the cruiser the defendant "bumped his chest"into Goss, who suffered minor injuries to his elbows and right hand.Police cited Williams for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief.11:02 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kevin Ruth, 35, of Butler and a car driven by Ryan Mazzanti, 25, of Butler Township collided at Man and Wayne streets. Ruth was cited for not stopping at a red light.10:22 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Joshua Dunkle, 18, of Butler struck a utility pole along South Cliff Street. Dunkle and a passenger, Stephen Allen, 18, of Rocky Mount, Va., suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts.
2:30 p.m. Saturday — Serafin Cantera, 35, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a five-vehicle crash on Route 8 at the Pickelgate Crossing. Details of the crash were not immediately available.
Sunday — Three people were arrested for driving under the influence during a roving DUI patrol detail by the Allegheny County North Hills DUI Task Force.The patrol was conducted between 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday on Route 8 near Spencer Lane Extension in Shaler Township.In addition to the DUI arrests, police charged one person with possession of marijuana and another with reckless endangerment.Police also cited five people with underage drinking, three for false reports to law enforcement authorities, two for driving with a suspended license and one each for public Intoxication, disorderly conduct and carrying a false identification.Additionally, officers issued nine citations for various vehicle code violations and four others to motorists not wearing seat belts.
7:30 p.m. Monday — Two girls, 14 and 15 years old, were arrested for attempting to steal $122 in perfume and sunglasses from the JCPenney store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.2:49 a.m. Monday — Erik Irwin, 27, of Franklin, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township.12:02 a.m. Monday — Connie Wilson reported that an unidentified vehicle, possible a newer Ford truck, struck her Avenger trailer on Green Street in Chicora. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Monday — A single-barrel, 20-gauge Harrington&Richards shotgun was among the property stolen between Aug. 5 and Monday from a hunting camp on Nagy Road in Washington Township.Also taken in the burglary was a 12-horsepower, Craftsman tractor, a 19-inch Emerson television and a Panasonic videocassette recorder.11:24 p.m. Saturday — Donald Spearline, 64, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8 near Route 228 in MiddlesexTownship.8:56 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Dannielle Bland, 22, of Butler crashed and flipped onto its roof on Evans Road in Center Township. Bland, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:23 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Jillian Weschler, 21, of Erie struck a guardrail along Route 422 near Route 528 in Muddy Creek Township. Weschler, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, faces charges of driving too fast for conditions.3:30 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jessica Alexander, 29, of Sturgeon, Allegheny County, struck a guardrail along Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Alexander, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at UPMC Cranberry Passavant. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Saturday — Several bedding items valued at $100 were taken between 6 and 7:30 p.m. from a car at the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township. Mike Kerr of Hilliards owns the stolen property.2 a.m. Saturday — Areportedly stolen 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was found burned along Carrara Road in Brady Township. Donny Claypool of Eau Claire owns the truck.8:58 p.m. Friday — An unidentified vehicle, possibly a 1990 Subaru, sideswiped a car driven by Christopher Gray, 21, of Pittsburgh on Chicora Road in Fairview Township, and did not stop following the crash.8:50 p.m. Friday — Richard Bowers, 32, of Evans City was arrested for false identification to law enforcement authorities after he was stopped for driving with a suspended license on East Brewster Road in Center Township.Friday — Several items owned by the Summit Township Municipal Authority were taken from a construction trailer at a work site on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. Property taken included:100 feet of 12-gauge extension cord; 80 feet of 10-gauge, three-wire cord, 50 feet of 12-gauge extension cord, traffic light adapters and various hand tools.12:30 p.m. Friday — A reportedly stolen 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was found burned in a wooded area off Pheasant Drive in the Woodlands, Connoquenessing Township. Bradford Vinroe owns the pickup that was taken from his Franklin Township home early Friday morning.Aug. 26 — Sandi Lynn Kradel, 25, of Butler was charged in connection with a police investigation looking into the whereabouts of the defendant's relative. Kradel is charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution, public drunkenness and permitting a traffic violation.4:20 p.m. Aug. 24 — Nathan Frndak, 25, and Brittany Lander, 18, both of Butler allegedly used a hammer and crow bar to try breaking into a cash box at Heasley's Corn Stand on Route 356 in Summit Township. Both are charged with attempted theft, theft by deception, criminal mischief and possession of instruments of crime.
