Maxine C. Campbell, 71, of Pleasant Hills died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pittsburgh.

Born May 26, 1935, in Butler, she was the daughter of Orrin J. and Pearl M. Schroth Campbell.

She graduated from Slippery Rock College with a teaching degree in physical education, taught at Sharon High School and retired from the Baldwin/Whitehall School district.

She enjoyed golfing, playing tennis and playing on her computer.

Surviving are a brother, Ray D. Campbell and his wife, Shirley, of Penn Township; a sister-in-law, Kay Campbell of New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Campbell, and two sisters, Shirley Keck and Joyce Monsilovich.
