Stephen L. Schnur
Stephen L. Schnur, 52, of West Valley City, Utah, died Sunday.
Born March 20, 1954, in Wurtland, Ky., he was the son of Patricia A. Schnur and the late Richard J. Schnur.
He was raised in Herman and was a graduate of Butler High School.
Mr. Schnur was best known for his kind and generous heart. His selflessness in taking care of his family, especially his brother, Rick, was important to him. He never said no to anyone who needed a helping hand.
A hard-working man with strong hands, he was a bricklayer for years and then was a night supervisor at ShopKo.
Little things meant a lot like being home with his wife, Cindy, and his dog, Kip; and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play. "Go Steelers!"
He married the love of his life, Lucinda "Cindy" Wright on Aug. 9, 1997. She survives along with a stepson, Jayson Bailey; his in-laws, Jim and Virginia Wright; a brother Rick (Gayleen) Schnur; two sisters, Dottie (Joe) Johnston and Pattie (Charlie) DeNunzio; three nephews, Matt, Brandon and Nicholas; and a niece, Tricia.
A son, Stephen Henry, preceded him in death.
