Authors will sign books at Clearview Mall, history site
"Blue Ribbon Girls" author Dr. Pat Campbell-Fells will be signing copies of her book from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Borders at Clearview Mall.
Her book is about a sixthgrader named Sally Lewis who receives treatment for cancer in Pittsburgh. She then moves out West with her mother and discovers riding therapy, and her cancer stays in remission.
The author also illustrated the book in such a way that children can color the pictures. The book, recommended for those in fifth grade and older, costs $13.95 plus tax.

Also Saturday, Frank J. Piatek will be signing copies of his historical book "Cannoneers, To Your Post" from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lawrence County Historical Society's Joseph A. Clavelli History Center, 408 N. Jefferson St. in New Castle.
His book is about the Civil War light artillery unit known as Battery B, which participated in 25 engagements and served through the entire war.
