Matthew and Amanda Lucco

Amanda Holmes of Slippery Rock and Matthew Lucco of Cranberry Township were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 15, at North Liberty Presbyterian Church in Grove City. The Rev. Jerry Mahaffey officiated. A reception followed in the Multi-Purpose Room in the University Union at Slippery Rock University.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Betty Holmes of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Rocco and Mary Lucco of Butler.

The honor attendant was Brenda Fedokovitz of Butler. Bridesmaids included Tiffany Frampton of Harrisville, Christina Savannah of Butler, Carrie Cook of DuBois, Theresa Pascarella of New Castle and Tara Green of Karns City. The flower girl was Amelia Murphy of New Castle.

Performing the duties of best man was Josh Fye of Slippery Rock. Ushers included Greg Metrick, Chad Savannah and Matt Throm, all of Butler; Greg Maser of Slippery Rock; and Matt Bibza of Grove City. The ring bearer was Tyler Holmes of Harrisville.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, a 1999 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2006 graduate of Geneva College, where she received a degree in human resource management. She currently works in human resources for Ellwood City Forge.

The bridegroom graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1998; from Grove City College in 2002, earning a degree in finance; and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005, earning a master's degree in business administration. He works as an associate for FNBCapital in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Cranberry Township.
