Carol Jean Updegraph, 48, of Cabot died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 3, 1957, in New Castle, she was the Daughter of Virginia Joyce Morrison Updegraph of Portersville and the late Henry Paul Updegraph, who died in 1966.

She was employed by the Sheltered Workshop in Butler.

Miss Updegraph enjoyed participating in activities of the Community Care Connections.

She attended the Calvary Baptist Church, Cabot.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Nancy Dee Updegraph of Portersville; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Vernon and Linda Updegraph of Portersville; two nieces; a nephew, and a grandnephew.

The family also gratefully acknowledges her caregivers, Janet and Ed Flanders of Cabot, with whom she made her home.
