Erkens, Lalley
Hanover residents Bobbi Erkens and Jay Lalley were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Aug. 20, 2005, at Hanover First Church of God. The Rev. Jerry Shoap officiated. A reception followed at Patty and John's Restaurant in Hanover.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Dena Erkens of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Charles and Patricia Lalley of Port Crane, N.Y.
The matron of honor was Colleen Tanner-Cissé of West Mifflin and the maid of honor was the bride's sister Kristi Erkens of Butler. Bridesmaids included the groom's sister Melissa Leonard of Maryland, N.Y.; Nicole Loomis of Lakewood Ohio; Kerry Marshall of Erie; Beth Dittmer, Nikki Searle and Laura Myers, all of Butler; and Jennifer Walton of Natrona Heights. The junior bridesmaid was Haleigh Ruckert and the flower girl was Taylor Searle.
Performing the duties of best man was Steve Riker. Groomsmen included Lonnie Myers, Nate Leonard, Gennaro D'Agostino, Michael Rounds, Kris Wright, Jim Tribol, Jeff Lott and Matt Richards. The junior groomsman was Matt Lott and the ring bearer was Hunter Leonard.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of Thiel College. She works as a senior auditor for the Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Md.
The bridegroom graduated from Chenango Valley High School in 1995 and from the State University of New York at Cobleskill in 1999. He works as a senior estimator with Keller Brothers in Mount Airy, Md.
Following a honeymoon trip to Smoke Hole Caverns, W.Va., the couple is making their home in Hanover.
