John A. Sisson
John A. Sisson, 51, of Terwilliger Road in Perry Township, Clarion County, formerly of Canonsburg, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at the Clarion Hospital.
Born in Canonsburg, Sept. 20, 1954, he was the son of the late Kathleen Gasparovic.
He retired as a school bus driver at Chartiers Taxi after 22 years. He then stayed at home to care for his mother; and after her death, he began to write short stories and poems.
Mr. Sisson enjoyed watching wrestling and football and playing with his two dogs, Kristin and Kira, and his kitten, Sassy.
Surviving are his wife, Drusilla L. Gaiser Sisson, whom he married Sept. 5, 2005; a son, Shawn A. Sisson and his wife, Jamie, of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Tara J. and Tyler J. Sisson; a stepdaughter; three step-grandchildren, and an aunt.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother and an uncle.
