3:50 a.m. Wednesday — Steven Appleton, 25, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-car, head-on collision on Route 8, just south of the Picklegate Crossing.Police said Appleton's northbound car crossed the medial and collided with a southbound car driven by Arlene Graham, 43, of Butler. Both drivers were treated for undisclosed injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.

3:10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Valjean Dunlap, 84, of Bruin struck a guardrail on Route 268 on Parker Hill in Parker, Armstrong County.12:05 a.m. Wednesday — An unknown burglar stole an undetermined amount of currency in a break-in at the Subway store on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.Sunday — A 1991 Ford Ranger stolen overnight from a Pinetract Road home in Center Township was later found destroyed by fire along Harper Road in Connoquenessing Township. Edward Black of Butler owns the pickup valued at $600.Aug. 10 — Assorted baseball cards were stolen from a large pole building in a burglary Aug. 9 or 10 on Stanford Road in Muddy Creek Township. Susan Geiger of Portersville owns the building.7:50 p.m. Aug. 7 — Michael Lyons, 57, of Pittsburgh was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.Aug. 6 — A 1993 Ford Ranger stolen earlier from a Claytonia Road home in Clay Township was found damaged by fire along Wolford Road in Cherry Township. Edwin Mansfield of Renfrew owns the pickup truck.5:18 p.m. Aug. 4 — Paul Gravatt, 48, of New Castle was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.

8:30 p.m. Tuesday — Roxanne Renee Zanot, 44, is accused of trying to stab her husband during an alcohol-fueled domestic dispute at the couple's Zanot Road home in Toby Township, Clarion County.Police said Zanot had been drinking throughout the day and came at Tim Victor Zanot, 55, with a knife. Tim Zanot was able to take the knife away from his wife; he then left the home with his children.Roxanne Zanot, who fled the home, is charged with reckless endangerment, simple assault and harassment.

12:51 p.m. Tuesday — Four Grove City boys were injured when their 1959 Edsel Ranger crashed on Old Ash Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County.The 17-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle traveling down a hill; the truck hit an embankment, rolled over and landed on its wheels.The driver and three passengers, 16- and 17-years-old, suffered minor to moderate injuries. None of the four occupants was wearing a seat belt.
