Tuesday — Chris Heitzenrater of Butler reported his teal, 1993 Ford Ranger extended cab pickup truck was stolen between midnight and 2:30 a.m. from the parking lot of Vin and Joe's bar on Route 38 in Summit Township.The vehicle has the Pennsylvania license plate YSK-0553. Anyone with information about the theft or the truck is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Monday — A battery for an electric lawn mower was stolen Sunday or Monday from the Layton Road home of Hazel Grimes in Oakland Township. The battery is valued at $39.

6:30 p.m. Saturday — Kasey Dischman, 19, no known address, was arrested on a bench warrant and placed in the Butler County Prison.Police said Dischman allegedly used a false name when officers questioned her during a theft investigation. Police later learned she was wanted on a warrant filed at the Butler County Sheriff's office.She was arrested at a Butler pool hall and charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities and driving with a suspended license.
