4:26 p.m. Tuesday — Linda Bloom reported that a bicycle was taken from the yard of her Negley Avenue home. The gray and yellow bike is a 20-inch Diamondback model valued at $100.Tuesday — Gregory Toner reported that a Ruger Red Hawk .44-caliber Magnum revolver, an ultra dot scope, speed loaders and holster were taken between July 4 and Tuesday in a burglary at his East Penn Street home. Six prescription pills were also taken during the break-in.

4:35 a.m. today — A Peterbilt truck driven by Carl Rhoades, 45, of Cochranton, Crawford County, crashed into a set of guardrails and rolled onto its side on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Rhoades, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with minor injuries to Grove City Medical Center.11:25 p.m. Tuesday — Bernard Rozic, 61, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a ditch and rolled onto its side at Dick and Whitestown roads in Connoquenessing Township.Rozic, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by medical helicopter with moderate injuries to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.10:35 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Joseph Michael Smith Jr., 35, of Butler struck the rear of a car driven by Francis Reynolds, 47, of Mantau, N.J., on Route 422 near Whipporwill Road in Franklin Township.The collision forced Reynolds' car into a guardrail. Smith, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Tuesday — An unknown rock thrower broke a 4-by-5-foot double pane window at the Wendy's restaurant outside Clearview Mall in Center Township. The window, valued at $500, was vandalized between 2 and 6:30 a.m.

1:12 a.m. Tuesday — Jacob Nolf, 26, of Templeton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 1031 in Boggs Township, Armstrong County.Police said Nolf was stopped soon after he allegedly pumped $28 in gas at a Butler Road gas station in West Kittanning and drove of without paying for the fuel.

1:10 p.m. Monday — A suspected illegal alien was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. The 35-year-old Guatemalan man is in the Lawrence County Jail while awaiting transfer to custody of federal immigration authorities.

Friday 9:52 p.m. — Eleven people were involved in a three-vehicle accident on West Main Street.Katrin Anderson, 29, Laramie, Wy., was traveling east on West Main Street when she stopped for traffic ahead. As the vehicle stopped, a vehicle driven by Sonya Snow, 32, of Garden Avenue struck Anderson's vehicle from behind. A car driven by Harry Kiester of Mercer collided with Snow's vehicle. Two juveniles in Kiester's vehicle were taken to Grove City Medical Center for minor facial injuries.Snow and Kiester both will be charged with following too closely, and Kiester will be charged with three restraint system violations.July 26 — A dump truck owned by Russell Standard Corp. of Bridgeville was reported stolen from the parking lot on the Grove City College campus. The vehicle was recovered later in a church parking lot on Poplar Street with no damage reported.July 26 — Police are investigating a report of two windows being broken out of a Franklin Place house owned by Barbara Manbeck. Damage estimates have not yet been provided.
