David Uhrinek, son of Bernard and Joyce Uhrinek of Sarver, was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service while stationed at Sembach Air Force Base, Sembach, Germany. He was also voted NCO of the year for 2005-2006.Uhrinek is currently a supply management specialist with the Combat Air Force Logistics Support Center at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Va.The 1994 graduate of Freeport High School spent four years at Sembach AFB before being transferred to his present assignment.———

Air Force Airman <B>Daniel Marshall </B>has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.Marshall is the son of George Marshall of Cranberry Township and Deborah Sage of Beaver.The airman is a 2004 graduate of Mars High School.
