2:01 p.m. Sunday — Kamaro Pew, 23, was arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Dewayne Emerick, 21, during a dispute at the couple's Wick Street home. Pew is charged with simple assault and harassment.

6:39 p.m. Friday — Dawn Kastelic, 34, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle struck another vehicle on Route 422 at Moraine Pointe Plaza. Police said Kastelic, who had two children riding in her vehicle, drove off after the crash.In addition to DUI, she faces charges of reckless endangerment and undisclosed traffic violations. Jean Datt, 53, of Butler was driving the vehicle hit in the collision.

2 a.m. today — Charles Carter, 24, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.Monday — An unknown burglar stole two pounds of nails and wrote graffiti on a scrap board after breaking into a barn at the Ferrere Lane home of Audrey Ferrere in Marion Township. The burglary occurred between May 1 and Monday.Monday — Ablue, 1997 Yamaha YFZ350 Banshee all-terrain vehicle was stolen between Friday and Monday at the Moran Road home of David Zanicki in Clearfield Township. The ATVis valued at $3,500.8:35 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Kourtney Josephic, 23, of Meadville, Crawford County, crashed into a median and struck a cement culvert on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Josephic, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.2:45 a.m. Sunday — An unidentified vehicle, possibly a pickup truck, struck a wooden fence, utility pole and real estate sign at Route 38 and Bryan Road in Concord Township, and did not stop following the crash.2:24 a.m. Sunday — Dustin Orwig, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Center Avenue in Butler.Sunday — Alaptop computer and a Sony PlayStation game system were stolen between 1 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. in a burglary at the Lions Road home of Douglas Carothers in Center Township.1:30 a.m. Saturday — Two unknown suspects tried unsuccessfully to break into three vehicles in the 100 block of Water Street in Bruin. Albert Renwick of Bruin owns the vehicles.1:07 a.m. Saturday — Frank Giordano, no age given, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 356 and 228 in

1:35 p.m. Thursday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Colton Davis, 18, of Rimersburg, Clarion County, struck a wooden fence along Chicora Road in Summit Township. The SUV traveled about 130 feet and hit a pickup truck and car parked at a driveway on the road. Davis was cited for careless driving and a lane violation.6:45 p.m. Wednesday — Linda Livingston, 48, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her pickup truck struck a mini-van parked at the Friedman's parking lot in Chicora.

5:50 p.m. Saturday — Michael Marks, 28, of Saxonburg was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County. Police said Marks, a passenger in the vehicle, was found with nine stamp bags of suspected heroin and a syringe.

12:25 p.m. Friday — Apickup truck driven by Dave Seivers, no age given, of Grove City and a car driven by Joyce Stewart, no age given, of Utica, Venango County, collided at Route 208 and Center Church Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.

July 24 — Karen Wendelschaefer, 40, N. Center St., Grove City, was charged with writing a bad check after she reportedly did not honor a $105 check written to Grove City Borough in June.July 23 — Citizens Bank drive-through was cited for control of alarm devices and automatic-dialing devices after the business had six false alarms in 12 months.July 22 — Bill Tonkin, 48, of Superior Street, Grove City, reported various tools and an XM radio stolen from his vehicle at his residence.July 22 — Police are looking for the driver of a car involved with a bicycle accident on South Broad Street about 4:45 p.m. The driver of the bicycle, Bryan Page, 20, of South Broad Street was traveling on East Main Street and attempted to turn onto South Broad Street when he reportedly struck the rear of a vehicle stopped for traffic. Both Page and the driver of the vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival. Page was treated at Grove City Medical Center for his injuries.
