Butler Church of the NazareneMusic for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will be provided by Amber Reckner and Krystal McIndoe. Children's Church will be directed by Al Martsolf.The 3 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday services will be held at the Pittsburgh District Camp Meeting at the Mount Chestnut Nazarene Center, 177 North Road, Franklin Township. The Rev. Ken Dove of Nashville, Tenn. will be the featured speaker and the Rev. Don and Cheryl Gessner will provide music.Small Styrofoam cups are being collected during July for the Hospitality Department. Crisis Care Kits are being collected for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and receptacles to receive the kits are available in the church foyer.

Christ Community U.M.A Holy Land trip informational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Members who have previously registered and anyone interested in participating in the trip scheduled for next year should attend.The All-Church Vacation Bible School will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A light dinner will be served. Those attending should wear gold. Toiletry items for Project Hope of Zelienople will be accepted as part of the mission program.Kim Sebring of Project Hope will lead the 8:30 a.m. Sunday service.Host homes are needed for the "Get to Know You" gatherings to meet the new pastor, the Rev. Christ's OutreachMusic for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will be presented by Howard Dillaman and Patty Helms. Prayer at the Altar is available at 1 p.m. Tuesday.Wednesday night classes are suspended through the month of August. Tom Walker's class will resume Sept. 6. Saturday night open gym for youth has been canceled until September.A Madden 2006 video game tournament is now being planned. Covenant PresbyVocalist Leanne Heaton will provide music for the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. The monthly "noisy offering" will be received during the service.The annual rummage and bake sale will be held from. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 5 in Fellowship Hall.

First BaptistFirst Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will host a men's prayer breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center.On Saturday, the church will be among congregations participating in a softball marathon and picnic at the Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. The competition will begin at 9 a.m., and the picnic will follow at noon.

First English LutheranThe Monday community dinners at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., are in need of regular and/or substitute volunteers, especially cooks. A sign-up sheet is posted on the large easel in the social room.Shop 'n' Save receipts are being collected to benefit the St. Afterschool Program and may be dropped off at the church office.There will be no Saturday evening services in August.

Glade Run U.P.The Rev. Bob McCrumb will be the guest speaker at the Sunday services at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia.Summer Sunday school will not meet during August. It will resume Sept. 10.During August, the church will provide desserts for Meals on Wheels. Hill U.P.The Music, Art and Drama Camp will present the musical "Arkeology" at both weekend services of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second Street. The musical features more than 50 youth in grades one through 12, and tells the story of Noah and his faith.The Deacons will serve a Fifth Sunday Luncheon following the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Reservations are requested by Friday. The Deacons will furnish hot dogs, potato salad and beverages. Attendees with last names beginning with A-L are to take desserts, and members with last names M-Z should take salads.

Meridian U.P.The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed at the 10 a.m Sunday service at Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave. Those in need of homebound communion should call the church office at 724-482-2360 from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday.The Men's Club will hold its dinner at 6 p.m. today in McCaslin Hall.

New Life Christian MinistriesA reception to honor the Rev. Tim Fulkerson and his wife, Amy, will be held following the Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. Sunday is the last Sunday for Fulkerson who has resigned his ministry position at the church.Teams of children, teens and adults will prayer walk in the Saxonburg area from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Old Union PresbyOld Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will hold a corn roast on Aug. 5. St. John's Evangelical LutheranA family wiener roast will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the pavilion at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street, Connoquenessing. The event will include a bonfire, songs, hot dogs, games and a sundae bar.

St. Richard R.C.St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, will hold a baptismal preparation class at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. To register, call the church office.Time Out for Moms will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 3. The program is free and child care will be provided. Registration is necessary. Trinity LutheranHoly Communion will be shared at the 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township.The Saturday evening service will be an old-fashioned hymn sing and Scripture service.Eat 'n Park flyers are now available on the credenza at the rear of the church. When presented at the restaurant, 10 percent of the meal bill will be donated to Butler Meals on Wheels.An outing of confirmands and their mentors will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at Moraine State Park. Those attending will meet at the church at 3:30 p.m. and carpool to the park. A sign-up sheet is posted on the youth bulletin board in the narthex.

Westminster PresbyThe Confirmation Class of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 210 Westminster Road, Clinton Township, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Suggested donation is $6.50 per adult; $3 for children ages 4-12; and children under 4 are free. The class will present a talent show following the dinner.

White Oak Springs PresbyThe Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the 9:45 a.m. Sunday service at White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew.
