3:10 a.m. Sunday — Ross Cammisa, 24, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence at Cunningham and South Monroe streets. He was also cited for disregarding traffic lanes.2:59 a.m. Sunday — Tabitha Wright, 23, of Connoquenessing Township was arrested for driving under the influence following a hit-and-run crash at Pillow Street and Sixth Avenue.Wright is accused hitting a parked pickup truck, which then was forced into a parked vehicle. Police said she drove off after the crash. Officers followed a fluid trail left from her damaged vehicle to Whitestown Road, where she was arrested.In addition to DUI, she is charged with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles.3:15 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Erin Oluschak-Ray, 36, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Robert McElroy, 51, of Chicora collided on West North Street. McElroy and Tammy Flick, 39, of Butler Township, a passenger in the pickup, suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts.9:28 p.m. Friday — John Cravener. 40, of Lyndora was arrested for driving under the influence on Kittanning Street. He also was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.8:40 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Matthew Schandelmeier, 18, of Clay Township and Charles Regis, 51, Butler Township collided at West Cunningham and South Washington streets. Regis, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
Sunday — Police are investigating the reported theft between 10 p.m. Saturday and 7:50 a.m. Sunday of about $510 from a vehicle at a Franklin Road home in Slippery Rock Township.4:50 a.m. Saturday — An undetermined amount of money was taken in a burglary at the Butler Veterinarian Clinic on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.1:30 a.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Gary Fallacker, 48, of Oakland Township struck a tree along Old East Butler Road in Summit Township. Fallacker, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Saturday — Nothing was taken in a burglary between 7 and 9 p.m. at the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority on Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township.1:58 p.m. Friday — A motorhome driven by Jessica Lynn Gossett, no age given, and a pickup truck driven by David Franks, no age given, collided at Route 422 and Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.1:50 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Loren Campbell, 54, of Franklin was traveling on Squaw Valley Road in Allegheny Township when it hit a culvert and overturned. Campbell told police she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.Friday — Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver reported damage to its sign and several missing light bulbs from lamps that occurred between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information about the incident should call the barracks at 724-284-8100.6:50 p.m. Thursday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Aaron Savage, 18, and a pickup truck driven by Steven Santypal, 36, both of Harrisville, collided on White Oak Road near Route 8 in Mercer Township. Santypal, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Savage was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and driving without insurance.2:30 p.m. Thursday — Police are investigating an incident in which a 12-year-old Bruin boy allegedly shot a 16-year-old Bruin boy with a BB gun on Water Street in Bruin.Thursday — Richard Kaiser, reported the theft of $34 in cash from his wallet at his Grant Avenue home in East Butler. The theft occurred between 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and 1:30 a.m. Thursday.Tuesday — Dennis Baird reported the theft of an unspecified amount of money from his North Washington Road home in Concord Township between July 13 and 18. Police are investigating.
11:57 p.m. Saturday — Brett Miller, 18, of East Brady, Clarion County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 268 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Police said they stopped Miller's for driving recklessly. A trooper also said a passenger in the car was throwing bags of trash out of the vehicle.In addition to DUI, Miller faces other charges. Two 19-year-old Kittanning men, passengers in the vehicle, also face charges in the traffic stop.7:55 p.m. Saturday — Edward McClaine, 50, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.10 p.m. Friday — George Strickler, 51, of Pittsburgh was arrested for diving under the influence on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
