3:05 a.m. Sunday — Christopher Thomas, 27, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after police found him passed out behind the wheel of his car, with its engine running, in a parking lot of an East Jefferson Street convenience store.9:36 p.m. Saturday — John Summerville, 31, is accused of assaulting Tammy Summerville, 26, during a domestic dispute in a car parked outside the couple's East Brady Street home. John Summerville was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.3:15 a.m. Saturday — Judith Vinroe, 46, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. She was also cited for a traffic control signal violation.12:14 a.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Michele Adamosky, 23, and Phillip Mennor, 23, both of Center Township, collided at West New Castle Street and Hansen Avenue.2:15 p.m. Thursday — Rachel Roman, 26, of Butler was cited for a hit-and-run crash after the car she was driving struck the rear of pickup truck on Hansen Avenue near Renaissance Drive.John Dunmyre, 44, of Butler, the pickup driver, was able to get the car's license before Roman drove off. Dunmyre, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Police later found Roman, who is charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle.
1:02 a.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Joshua McAfoose, 21, of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, skidded on rain-soaked Interstate 79 in Jackson Township and crashed into a bridge divider.8 p.m. July 10 — John Negley, 18, of Chicora was injured when the car he was driving slid off Evans Road and struck a tree near Barton Road in Center Township. Negley, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.
6:54 p.m. Saturday — Karen Kallister, 49, of Jackson Center was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car collided with another car on Route 173 at Kilgore Road in Worth Township, Mercer County.Kallister and Timothy Lambert, 42, of Masury, Ohio, a passenger in her car, were treated for minor injuries at Grove City Medical Center.Robert Rose, 35, of Stoneboro, the driver of the other car, and two of his passengers, an 11-year-old Stoneboro girl and an 11-year-old Greenville girl, were also treated for minor injuries at Grove City Medical Center. All occupants in both cars were wearing seat belts.Wednesday — Numerous hand tool, power tools and electronics equipment were taken in a burglary between July 7 and Wednesday at a Heister Road home in Sandy Lake Township.
