8:05 a.m. Thursday — Police arrested a Crawford County woman at the methadone clinic at Pullman Square when they learned she was wanted on a warrant in Erie County.Cappyanna Levenduski, 20, of Meadville was jailed until Millcreek Township police picked her up. The arrest warrant was previously issued when Levenduski was charged with burglary and conspiracy.8:03 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Susan McAnally, 47, of Gibsonia and a sport utility vehicle driven by Erika Ritson, 26, of Butler collided at Jefferson and Washington streets. McAnally, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for unknown injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.Thursday — Richard McClelland Jr., 23, of Butler was charged with bad checks for writing a $170 check on June 15 on an account that did not have sufficient funds.1:31 a.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Leanne Martini, 25, of North Washington and Norman Voelker, 44, of Butler collided on Kittanning Street. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital. Martini, who was not wearing a seat belt, was cited for reckless driving. Voelker was wearing a seat belt.
4:45 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Homer Tack, 59, of Butler struck a utility pole along Route 268 near Spring Street in Petrolia. Tack was cited for a lane violation.Thursday — Police reported they are still investigating the theft of 400 ceramic food plates valued at $1,500 from the Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Church Center on North Road in Franklin Township. The theft occurred between May 10 and June 17. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Thursday — A burglar took nothing but damaged food items in a break-in at the Pioneer Drive-in on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.Police said the unknown suspect forced his way into the drive-in between 2 and 11:30 a.m. and opened up the freezer doors in the snack bar, causing the food inside to spoil.9 p.m. Wednesday — Dennis Patterson, 49, of Cabot was arrested for allegedly assaulting a relative and threatening three state police officers during a disturbance at a Smith Road home in Winfield Township.Police said Patterson punched Brian Patterson, 23, of Cabot and pushed an unidentified girl down stairs. When troopers were called, the defendant allegedly told them to leave. He threatened to get a gun when the officers did not leave.Patterson was arrested without incident and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond, following arraignment.4:20 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Leland West, 72, of Prospect and Crystal McCormick, 41, of Prospect collided at Route 422 and Dick Road in Franklin Township.Monday — More than $1,700 in hair care items were stolen between July 5 and Monday from a vehicle at the Spithaler School Road home of Rebecca Cypher. The stolen property includes scissors, shears, clippers and other items.
