Charles A. Marshall
Charles Alfred Marshall, 79, of Middlesex Township died Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 29, 1927, in Middlesex, he was the son of Nicholas and Glee S. Truver Marshall.
He was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church and worked in heavy construction until his retirement.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia R. McLaughlin Marshall, whom he married Nov. 18, 1950, in Richmond, Ind.
Also surviving are children, Charles Marshall of Venezuela, South America, Nicholas Marshall, Patricia "Trish" Haupl and Joyce Vogel, all of Penn Township, David Marshall of Arnold, Rege Marshall of Butler, Steve and Nelson Marshall, both of Springdale, Julie Kathman and Pete Marshall, both of Conway, S.C. Also surviving are six siblings, 30 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five siblings.
<B>MARSHALL</B> — Friends of Charles Alfred Marshall, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle at Route 8 in Allison Park.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Glade Run Presbyterian Church. Those attending will meet at the church. Mr. Marshall's son Charles will conduct the services. Burial will be private.
