2:11 a.m. Thursday — Jason Patton, 28, of Kittanning was arrested for driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. He was also cited for not stopping at a flashing red light.
10:34 p.m. Tuesday — Darlene Vescio, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 South.
9:29 a.m. Sunday — A trailer owned by Edward E. Grunnagle, 66, of 306 Hazel St. was struck while it was parked in front on his residence by an unidentified vehicle. The collision had pushed the trailer into Grunnagle's truck, causing additional damage. A neighbor reported to police that he witnessed an older mini-van with gray primer paint speeding from the scene.10:09 a.m. Saturday — Linda Nye, 58, of 102 N. Pittsburgh St. reported someone spray-painted graffiti on her garage at the corner of East New Castle and North Charles streets.3:50 p.m. Saturday — Douglas W. Burgh, 50, of 109 N. High St. reported someone entered his vehicle overnight while it was in a business parking lot near his residence. A holder containing 150 compact discs, valued at $1,500, was taken.8:19 a.m. June 23 — John E. Rinaman, 42, of 223 S. Clay St. reported someone took his daughter's bicycle valued at $60.June 22 — Vehicles driven by Robert Joshua Burr, 21, of 163 Burr Lane, Evans City, and John T. Rugh, 51, of Ellwood City collided on Route 19 in front of Northland Ford.1:32 a.m. June 17 — Chelsie Joy Bauman, 19, of Rochester, Beaver County, faces driving under the influence of alcohol and drug possession charges following a traffic stop on South Jefferson Street. Upon search of the vehicle and the individuals, suspected marijuana was found. Nicole Leigh Fisher, 18, of 203 Weeks Road, Slippery Rock, faces a purchase/consumption/possession/transporting alcoholic beverage charge and Shaina Hathaway, 18, of 152 Klein Road, Cranberry Township, faces drug possession charges. Both were passengers in the vehicle.
4:30 p.m. June 19 — A vehicle driven by Joseph Duvall, 54, of Pittsburgh was traveling on Route 19 near the Seneca Auto Sales, when someone cut in front of his vehicle, causing him to lose control and hit a guard rail.
8:15 a.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Carol Chambers, 29, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, and Alexander Shott, 58, of Butler collided on Route 68 near Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township. Chambers, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries; she was cited for several undisclosed traffic violations.Wednesday — Two residences on Angel Avenue in Fairview Township were broken into, but nothing was taken in either incident. One of the burglaries occurred between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Emily Jo Scott. The other burglary occurred between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10:25 p.m. Wednesday at the garage of Kenneth Krumpe.10:30 p.m. Monday — Albert Richard McKnight Jr., 51, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his 8-year-old son at their New Castle Road home in Franklin Township. The boy suffered minor injuries.McKnight is charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment.Monday — An unknown thief between June 20 and Monday stole 300 pounds of copper wire from a field at the Barron Road home of Rachel Griffin in Worth Township. The wire is valued at $700.Sunday — An unknown burglar Saturday or Sunday forced open a garage door at the Rennick Road home of Ronald Zawrotuk in Jefferson Township and stole wiring and piping that was in the basement.
